Rocco the cat was found alive under the rubble after 32 days since the 6.2-magnitude earthquake that hit central Italy.
After the earthquake 200 animals were rescued. After 32 days nobody was expecting to find anyone alive under the ruins.
But Rocco refused to give up! While firefighters of Vigili del Fuoco were cleaning up the area they had an amazing surprise! They couldn’t believe when they found a cat trapped among the stones inside a collapsed house. Rocco called them with a faint meow to tell them he is alive and he needs help.
The cat was dehydrated but he was fine. He survived there 32 days without food or water! Rocco found his owners who couldn’t believe he was still alive. They were all extremely happy to find him.
