Tallahassee Fire Department rescued a kitten trapped in the engine bay of a Leon County Schools vehicle at a parking lot.
An employee noticed the kitten who was trapped and called the fire department asking if someone could come to help him. The team from Fire Department spent 20 minutes in the rain to rescue the kitten.
“Stray cats will go up in the car engine to stay warm,” said TFD’s Captain Graham Reid.
The team had to take off the inside wheel well and take some parts off the car to have better access to the kitten.
“We were able to put our hands on the cat to get the cat out safely, unharmed,” Reid said.
