During summer, the ongoing cat overpopulation problems become increasingly severe all over the world. Hundreds of thousands of kittens are taken in shelters and in foster places, which are already overcrowded.
The shelters have many old cats who are waiting already since a very long time. Some wait for years till they find a home, others remain in the shelters for as long as they live. Old cats deserve a good life too, they need homes as much as kittens or young cats do.
