Newborn baby kittens are some of the most precious creatures on the planet. Kittens make great pets for animal lovers!
Right after birth kittens are entirely reliant on their mothers for food and warmth. Their little bodies can’t regulate temperature very well so they depend on their mother’s warmth. Kittens’ eyes and ear canals are closed during their first days of life and this makes them unable to see or hear anything.
Between the ages of 9 and 21 days the small beauties will be able to see and hear the world around them. Their beautiful eyes open. Their smell develops during this time.
Kittens can purr from the day they are born. They can also meow or make different sounds.
Kittens grow incredibly fast! By the time they are 4 weeks old, they start eating alone. At this age can be introduced to the litter box. Playing is a very important part in kittens development. They will run around all day and pounce at each other to establish who rules house!
