Kitten Abandoned At Ikea Car Park Finds A New Home

Vinnie, a five-month-old half-Bengal kitten was discovered in a cat carrier containing toys and food in an Ikea superstore car park in Essex.

The basket had a note on it from his owner who said he could not keep him “for personal reasons” and he was “very sad”. Vinnie was in danger there as his carrier could easily have been crushed by a car.

The kitten was taken in care by the RSPCA. They have announced recently that Vinnie found a new loving home and they urged people to take pets to one of their shelters, or other rescue centres rather than abandoning them.
