The Arizona Humane Society and the City of Phoenix helped to rescue a tiny kitten from a manhole near 35th Avenue and Greenway.
The society’s Emergency Animal Medical Technicians responded and had been trying for three days to pull the kitten from the manhole.
Kelley Mallon, Emergency Animal Medical Technician was able to pull the the kitten from the drain. The kitten, 5 weeks old, named Tera was transported to AHS’ Second Chance Animal Trauma Hospital where she was fully examined and received a bath. She is being cared for and will go up for adoption in about three weeks.
