The Cocoa Police Department rescued a small kitten from a storm drain early Sunday morning.
Around 2 a.m., officers received a call from a citizen who reported hearing a small kitten meowing from help and the crying was coming from the storm drain.
Officer Nick Hall with Officer Dale Fountain located the kitten who was trapped in a storm drain. Officer Fountain was able to reach in the kitten and grab him.
The kitten was safe and he was returned to his owner.
