Tiny Jungle Cat Rescued In Guatemala!

ARCAS, a non-profit Guatemalan NGO wildlife rescue based in Guatemala, rescued recently a baby Margay from a raging forest fire.

They rescued the tiny cat when he was only one week old. “He was rescued from a raging forest fire,” Arcas wrote on their Facebook page. “His mother was severely injured and sadly nowhere to be found.” The kitten is well and he is bottle fed. He will be returned to the wild when he will grow up.

Margays are wild, solitary and nocturnal cats that grow to weigh between 9 and 20 pounds. They’re small, and they live in forests found in Mexico and some parts of South America.
